Expedition style tour

Our longer tours go beyond the Cuyabeno lake system and reach much more remote areas of the Cuyabeno Wildlife Reserve. Smaller tributaries like the Aguas Negras River do not have any motor canoe traffic or indigenous settlements.

All equipment, food and water supplies must be carried in our canoes. At times, canoes must be carried over logs. Accommodation is in tents on small open spots along the river or occasionally in rustic huts.

Daily paddling sessions may last up to 6 hours. These tours have a moderate expedition character and are well-suited for canoeists and those experienced in the outdoors. They are accompanied by our most experienced guides.

Costs for our customized tours depend on the destination, duration and number of participants.
