Tours

We invite beginners, experienced canoeists and everyone in between to discover exuberant flora and fauna in the most natural way possible with this tour. Paddling is moderate and suitable for everyone in regular physical condition, regardless of age. The first night is spent at our comfortable camping spot in the forest, while the Magic River Ecolodge provides the accommodation for the following nights.

These tours lead to much more remote areas of the Cuyabeno Nature Reserve. The tours are more physically demanding with fewer amenities. Paddling time may last up to 6 hours daily. Accommodation varies from campsites along the river to rustic huts to the Magic River Ecolodge. Travelers will be rewarded with a deeper experience of the jungle. Wildlife observations are expected to be more spectacular in these remote areas.

The classic rainforest lodge experience: each night is spent at the Magic River Ecolodge, your base for an interesting and varying mixture of activities, including some shorter canoeing excursions into the Cuyabeno lake area. The transfer to the Ecolodge is carried out in a comfortable motorized canoe from which you can spot wildlife and exuberant vegetation.
